Update from the Hospital Power Project

June 24, 2016

The works for the concrete wall are well developed and the beautiful exposed concrete is beginning to take shape.

The scheme will provide a new sub station to provide power for the University and Hospital and involves enclosing a number of significant items of electrical equipment within a building and enclosure.

The site is within a conservation area and there are a number of listed buildings adjacent along Clarendon road. The proposed scheme is a bold contemporary and sculptural response to the context  to create an attractive and visually distinct feature on the site which is of a high quality as demanded by its setting in a conservation area.
