New Harrogate Civic HQ achieves BREEAM Excellent

June 24, 2016

The new Civic HQ for Harrogate BC has achieved a design stage BREEAM rating of Excellent.

Farrell and Clark were appointed by Harrogate Borough Council to design their new council offices. In a nationwide competition they were selected from 44 architects to develop and design a new civic building on its edge of town Knapping Mount site.

The new building is to be located on an existing council owned site located within a conservation area and will enable them to save in the region of £1 million a year in operating costs.
